What is Identity Verification and what are my options?
The Las Vegas Justice Court requires identity verification for online court education classes. The student's identity will be verified either by using the "Experian" credit agency, another online ID verification  company or a Notary Public. The Experian method can be fully completed online. The Notary method requires the student to locate a Notary Public and appear in person to have the Notary verify the student's identity.
What is the Experian verification method?
The Experian identity verification method will use the Experian credit agency to create questions based on the student's credit history  that only the student will be able to answer. This method requires the student to be at least 18 years of age, have a valid social security number, and have enough credit history to generate multiple questions.  Using Experian to verify the student's identity will not affect the student's credit in any way. After successfully completing the Experian verification, the student will immediately be able to print out class diploma.
What is the Notary Public verification method?

A Notary Public is someone who is certified by their home state/country that can verify a person's identity on documents. After the Final  Exam is completed, the student will have to print out the Notary Verification form and have their ID verified by a Notary Public. Notary Publics are generally available at banks, credit unions, law offices and at various other locations. LRS Systems (the provider of these classes) can also provide notary services to clients. Once the Notary Verification form is completed, it must be mailed or brought in to LRS Systems (address/location can be found by visiting  in order to successfully complete the class and view/print the class  diploma.

I failed the final exam. What do I do now?
State regulations require students wait 4 hours after traffic school and 1 hour after DUI School before retaking the test. It is recommended spending this time going back over the instructional material. Students can take the test as many times as needed in order to pass until the 60-day period expires.
What are Administrative Assessments fees?
Under Nevada law, several Administrative Assessments (AA’s) are required to be added to the misdemeanor fine amount when a defendant forfeits bail, pleads guilty, or is found guilty. For example, a $10.00 AA is used to fund court facilities throughout the state, and another AA in the amount of $7.00 funds Nevada’s specialty-court programs. So, while the state mandated fine for not using a hands free device for cellphones while driving is $50.00, after the applicable AA’s are added, the total fine and fee amount is $115.00.

Although a defendant may perform community service to lower fine amounts, community service does not reduce the amounts owed for AA’s. A list of all the AA’s required by statute can found at the following link:
